At the 2026 Future Pioneers Conference, Xiang Xingchu, Chairman of JAC Group, stated that the company is advancing deep capital-level cooperation with Huawei and plans to invest in "Yinwang," the core business entity of Huawei's Vehicle Business Unit (Vehicle BU), to foster joint innovation. Yinwang focuses on solutions in intelligent driving and smart cockpit technologies. JAC Motors had previously announced its intention to invest in Yinwang but did not disclose the specific amount. To date, Seres and Avatr have each invested RMB 11.5 billion to acquire a 10% stake in Yinwang, while Huawei retains an 80% ownership stake. Xiang noted that JAC’s collaboration with Huawei has expanded from single-model technology partnerships to platform-level and series-based cooperation. JAC will launch new products including the high-end customized version of the Zunjie S800 and an MPV, and will systematically advance the development of subsequent models to enrich its product portfolio. When asked about potential collaboration with Maserati, Xiang declined to give a direct response, only stating that the Zunjie brand holds significant growth potential, with its first sedan positioned as an executive luxury vehicle and future models set to cover a broader range of styles to meet diverse customer demands. According to official data, since its market launch in May 2025, the Zunjie S800 has delivered over 18,500 units, ranking No. 1 in sales among luxury sedans priced above RMB 700,000 for eight consecutive months—a record for the fastest delivery pace among domestically produced luxury vehicles priced at or above RMB 1 million.
