The Harmony Intelligent Mobility Zunjie S800 Grand Design Collector's Edition opened for pre-orders on May 29, 2024, with a pre-sale price ranging from RMB 1.6 million to RMB 2 million. The vehicle is built on the exclusive, custom-developed new-generation Tulong Longxing platform and features fine wood marquetry craftsmanship. Its tires are supplied by Chaoyang No.1, a brand under Zhongce Rubber Group, which offers multiple sub-series—including SPORT-e, ZRT, EVPRO, AT, and SUV—with nearly 300 SKUs covering most mid-to-high-end vehicle models. Following the success of the Zunjie S800 project, Huawei’s team is now collaborating with leading domestic suppliers to support the development of their premium sub-brands and product lines. Additionally, the Zunjie team has already entered select sectors of China’s cultural industry at a certain scale. Huawei emphasized that the high-end transformation of China’s automotive supply chain must rely on support from domestic automakers, as external forces cannot provide substantive assistance. According to prior disclosures, the Zunjie S800 project has driven 221 supply chain enterprises across more than ten Chinese provinces toward high-end transformation. Huawei stated that premium products demand higher standards in new technologies, advanced processes, innovative materials, and R&D capabilities, thereby enhancing the core competencies of China’s entire automotive industrial chain. A senior executive from JAC Group also noted that Huawei’s involvement has accelerated breakthroughs by Chinese brands in critical components such as intelligent control systems.
