A vehicle equipped with Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) software version V14.3.3 has completed the world’s first fully autonomous cross-Canada journey without any human intervention. Departing from Vancouver, the car traveled 6,051 kilometers (3,760 miles) over four days and 21 hours, navigating diverse and complex road conditions before arriving in Halifax. Throughout the entire trip—including driving maneuvers and parking—the FSD system operated entirely on its own, with the driver never touching the steering wheel or pedals. At multiple Tesla Supercharger stations, the vehicle autonomously performed turning, alignment, and reverse parking into charging stalls. This journey utilized the FSD V14.3.3 version, which was rolled out earlier this month via the 2026.14.6.6 software update. Although Tesla officially still classifies FSD as a Level 2 driver-assist system requiring active supervision, this independent real-world demonstration highlights its capability for long-distance, uninterrupted autonomous operation. Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s Director of Artificial Intelligence, has congratulated and thanked the team behind the achievement.
