On June 6, Aito unveiled detailed features of the M9 Mode for its Aito M9 model. This mode automatically adjusts power delivery and chassis settings based on the number of occupants in the vehicle: - When driven solo or with a front passenger, the system delivers more responsive power, sharper steering, and quicker acceleration while maintaining comfort. - When second-row passengers are present, the suspension softens and power output becomes more linear, enhancing bump absorption and ensuring comfort for both front and rear passengers. - When third-row seats are occupied or the vehicle is fully loaded, the system applies anti-motion-sickness tuning to minimize body pitch and roll during acceleration, deceleration, and cornering, thereby reducing the risk of motion sickness for rear passengers. Additionally, M9 Mode continuously monitors road conditions in real time and automatically adapts the vehicle’s dynamics: it tightens the chassis at high speeds for improved stability, actively suppresses body roll during cornering, and—when driving through flooded sections—automatically measures water depth, raises ground clearance, and adjusts power delivery to prevent wheel slip. All these adjustments occur seamlessly without any manual input from the driver.
