The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has released two research reports based on real-world driving data. One study found that speeding and distracted driving are highly correlated in real-world road environments—drivers who speed are often also distracted. The other study indicated that vehicles equipped with more advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features have a relatively lower risk of crashes.
