Huawei's overseas version of its HarmonyOS-powered in-vehicle system was recently unveiled. Built on HarmonyOS 4.3, this version has been localized for markets in the Middle East and Central Asia, including support for Petal Maps and overseas applications. According to insiders, the current pace of international expansion is not constrained by development progress but rather by external environmental factors. At present, Huawei’s smart automotive solution, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), is actively advancing its overseas market strategy. Earlier this year, in April, Chery Automobile Chairman Yin Tongyue revealed that the Luxeed R7 is preparing for overseas launch, with vehicle configurations being adapted to meet regional regulations and market demands. Multiple overseas dealers have already proactively reached out to explore cooperation opportunities. In May, Seres also stated on an investor interaction platform that the Aito brand is firmly pushing forward its premium global expansion strategy.
