On June 10, 2026, UK-based motion simulation technology company Dynisma unveiled the DMG-S, a compact Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulator. Built upon the core dynamic technologies used in Formula 1 racing, the device aims to deliver professional-grade simulation experiences for a broader range of motorsport and driver training applications. Smaller in size and easier to operate, the DMG-S enables driver training, race preparation, track familiarization, and vehicle setup evaluation—all within a safe and repeatable environment—eliminating the time, cost, and logistical burdens associated with on-track driving. The system supports rapid switching between vehicle models, tracks, and driving conditions, making it adaptable to various racing categories, championship requirements, and stages of a driver’s career development. The simulator accurately replicates critical driving feedback such as kerb impacts, weight transfer, grip variations, tire wear, and oversteer. With motion latency under 5 milliseconds and a motion bandwidth exceeding 50 Hz, it ensures drivers maintain a direct, responsive connection between the vehicle model and their own inputs.
