Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa stated that Maserati, as a pure luxury brand with a unique customer base and rich heritage, holds a special position within the group. Its current product lineup is already robust, and two new large E-segment vehicles will be added by 2030. One will be a large crossover SUV expected to succeed the Levante, while the other will feature a streamlined silhouette and could take the form of a sports car, grand tourer, or four-door coupe. Additionally, mid-cycle updates for the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale were previewed in May and will be officially unveiled soon. Filosa revealed that Stellantis is currently in negotiations with two potential partners regarding Maserati and will soon decide on one. The chosen partner will provide technological, R&D, and creative support, but the Maserati brand itself will not be sold. The collaboration is expected to boost production capacity at both the Cassino and Modena plants. Stellantis plans to disclose further details of Maserati’s future strategic roadmap in December. Previously, the company had explored new energy vehicle cooperation with Huawei and JAC Motors, including a proposal to market the same model under the Zunjie brand in China and the Maserati brand overseas, though it declined to comment on such market rumors.
