Cumulative sales of vehicle models equipped with Meizu’s FlymeAuto in-car operating system have reached 3,004,230 units, spanning an expanded lineup of 45 models. In May 2026 alone, new sales totaled 141,609 units. Starting from a user base of 498,000 vehicles in January 2025, the system has grown nearly sixfold over the subsequent 17 months through May 2026. Initially launched in March 2023, FlymeAuto supports features such as seamless handoff between devices, smartphone-assisted OTA updates, and hardware-level interoperability and resource sharing between smartphones and vehicles. The FlymeAuto 2 version, released in August 2025, introduced enhancements including a live 3D desktop interface and end-to-end continuity across all scenarios, with AI capabilities extended throughout the entire vehicle. It also features an “AI Mind-Reading” function capable of proactively interpreting user intent and automatically executing common operations.
