The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has disclosed battery and range details for the XPeng MONA L05 in the "31st Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Purchase Tax Exemption." The model will be offered in both all-electric and extended-range variants, both equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The all-electric version features a 71.1 kWh battery pack, delivering four CLTC-rated range options: 615 km, 635 km, 640 km, and 660 km, powered by an electric motor rated at 183 kW. The extended-range variant comes with a 37.2 kWh battery pack, offering pure-electric CLTC ranges of 237 km, 245 km, and 253 km. It is equipped with a 1.5L range extender producing a maximum power output of 70 kW, paired with the same 183 kW drive motor. The MONA L05 measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,636 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm, positioning it as a midsize SUV. Its exterior design follows XPeng’s signature styling language, featuring uniquely shaped headlights and active air intakes on the front fascia. The sides include split-type side mirrors, semi-flush door handles, and blacked-out side skirts. At the rear, it sports a full-width light bar and offers optional add-ons such as a spoiler and fender badges. The vehicle will be available with either 18-inch (225/60 R18) or 20-inch (245/45 R20) wheel options.
