2026-06-18 08:08:00Leapmotor will launch the 2027 model-year C-series vehicles in 2026, including the C10, C11, and C16. This mid-cycle refresh introduces multiple upgrades to configurations, platforms, and detail-oriented user experiences—all while maintaining unchanged pricing. As Leapmotor’s flagship model, the C11 features minimal exterior changes, adding the “small blue light” commonly seen on new energy vehicles and retaining its flush door handles. The chassis continues with a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension setup, now standard with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) variable shock absorbers and upgraded with Bosch-Huayu steering systems. The all-electric variant shifts to an 800V high-voltage platform supporting 3C fast charging and adds a heat pump air conditioning system. Inside, it debuts dual zero-gravity seats, a 60-inch AR-HUD, a 23-speaker audio system, and headrest-mounted speakers for the driver. Leapmotor also revealed plans to introduce an entirely new generation of the C11 in the future. The C10 and C16 receive synchronized exterior updates aligned with Leapmotor’s latest family design language: the front light bar is raised, hood character lines are added, and wheels are replaced with new glossy-finish designs. Inside, the central touchscreen grows from 14.6 inches to 17.3 inches (with resolution upgraded to 3K), while the instrument cluster shrinks to 8.8 inches. The center console is redesigned—wireless charging now accommodates two phones, and cup holder placement has been repositioned. Rear passengers gain a fold-out tray table and pop-up cup holders; the C16’s rear entertainment screen expands from 15.6 inches to 17.3 inches, still manually operated. All three models will be offered in both extended-range and pure electric variants, with two trim levels: a base version and an advanced version featuring LiDAR and additional comfort amenities. Higher trims further include AR-HUD, an in-cabin air quality management system, ambient lighting, and premium audio. Leapmotor emphasizes its vertically integrated R&D and manufacturing capabilities to control costs, enabling configuration upgrades without price increases. The company plans to unveil an end-to-end large-model-based advanced driver-assistance system by the end of 2026 and will host a Tech Day event later this year to strengthen its positioning and communication in the intelligent driving domain.
