BYD maintained its position as the global NEV sales leader with 403,472 units sold, up 5.46% year-over-year. Its overseas sales reached a record high of 175,349 units, accounting for 43.4% of total sales—the highest monthly export volume in the company’s history. Passenger vehicle sales totaled 397,292 units, with pure electric and plug-in hybrid models selling 201,472 and 195,820 units respectively—nearly equal. Cumulative sales for the first half of the year reached 1,808,511 units. Leapmotor delivered 93,376 vehicles globally in June, surging 95% year-over-year and setting a new monthly delivery record for the brand. It significantly outpaced Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), the second-ranked newcomer, by nearly 43,000 units. Leapmotor’s cumulative deliveries for H1 reached 356,487 units, averaging close to 60,000 per month. As of June 18, its global cumulative deliveries surpassed 1.5 million units. HIMA delivered 50,624 vehicles in June, up 9.7% month-over-month, bringing its H1 total to approximately 240,000 units—a year-over-year increase of 18.6%. The Aito brand alone delivered 30,199 units in June. Notably, the Aito M9 received over 42,000 firm orders in its launch month, while the M6 surpassed 30,000 deliveries within just 54 days of launch. The newly launched Shangjie Z7 exceeded 10,000 units in monthly deliveries. NIO delivered 40,597 vehicles in June, up 62.9% year-over-year, marking its highest monthly figure this year. XPeng delivered 40,126 units, rising 15.9% year-over-year. Li Auto delivered 30,895 units, falling behind both rivals by more than 10,000 units. Xiaomi Auto has now delivered over 30,000 vehicles for three consecutive months, with H1 cumulative deliveries exceeding 180,000 units. The YU7 series has delivered over 230,000 units since its launch 10 months ago. Zeekr delivered 35,169 vehicles in June, soaring 111% year-over-year. Deepal reported sales of 33,625 units, up 12.5% year-over-year. GAC’s Hyper and Aion BU sold 33,682 units, an increase of 21% year-over-year. Voyah delivered 14,223 vehicles, up 41% year-over-year.
