BYD Song PLUS to pre-sale on August 28

It is reported that BYD Song PLUS will start pre-sale on August 28. The new car uses the BYD family’s Dragon Face 2.0 design. The dragon-claw-shaped headlights have a flat and long overall shape, which is very recognizable when lit. In terms of power, BYD Song PLUS will provide fuel version and PHEV and BEV. It is reported that the car will hit the market in September.

The front face of Song PLUS adopts the BYD family Dragon Face 2.0 design language, among which the fuel version has a large hexagonal air intake grille and a dot matrix design, while the BEV adopts the typical closed design of NEV. The Song PLUS lamp group adopts dragon claw elements, and the sides of the engine cover are also designed with raised lines to make the body full of muscle and strength.

At the rear of the car, the BYD Song PLUS fuel version and BEV both use through-type taillights, and are decorated with chrome strips and have English logos below, which are recognizable. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4,705mm, 1,890mm, and 1,680mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,765mm.

The interior of BYD Song PLUS adopts the latest generation of BYD design and has a very strong sense of the future. In detail, the central control area of the new car uses a lot of piano paint materials. The floating LCD screen in the middle is matched with the LCD instrument panel next to it, which is very technological. In addition, the air outlet of the Song PLUS air conditioner is upgraded to a vertical design, and the weather, temperature and other information can be displayed on the right side panel of the LCD screen.

In terms of power, the BYD Song PLUS fuel version will be equipped with a new high-power 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 136 kilowatts. BEV is equipped with BYD's third-generation permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with maximum power of 120 kW and 135 kW. In terms of endurance, the new car will provide two different endurance versions of 405 kilometers and 505 kilometers for consumers to choose from.
