On January 9, BYD's all-new all-electric SUV, the Song Ultra, appeared in the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) vehicle declaration catalog. The new model continues the Dynasty Series family design language, with dimensions of 4,850 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm—longer than that of the Song L DM-i. Optimized specifically for a pure electric powertrain, its exterior features a more sporty front grille, air intakes, and front lip, complemented by flush door handles and a "Chinese knot"-inspired full-width taillight. A mounting position for a roof-mounted LiDAR is reserved at the front of the roof, suggesting the vehicle may be equipped with BYD’s advanced “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving system, supporting both urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functions. Powering the vehicle is a 270 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (model code TZ200XYAV), enabling a top speed of 210 km/h—making it one of the most powerful single-motor models in its class. It comes standard with 235/50R19 tires and has a curb weight of 2,050 kg.
