BYD Seagull 05/06 DM-i Ultra Edition Launches New 210km Range Model Starting at ¥89,800

On January 9, BYD launched four new variants of its Seagull 05 DM-i and Seagull 06 DM-i Super Enjoyment Edition models for the 2026 model year, all offering a pure electric range of 210 km. The Seagull 05 DM-i adds two new trims: the 210 km Deluxe (RMB 89,800) and Flagship (RMB 99,800). The Seagull 06 DM-i Super Enjoyment Edition introduces the 210 km Premium (RMB 116,800) and Flagship (RMB 126,800) variants. All new models are equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology, delivering a maximum combined fuel-and-electric driving range of up to 2,110 km. In terms of features, the Seagull 05 comes with a 12.8-inch central display and DiPilot 100 advanced driver-assistance systems, while the Seagull 06 upgrades include a W-HUD, Yun Nian-C intelligent chassis control system, and an in-car refrigerator. Purchasers will enjoy benefits including zero down payment or zero interest financing, trade-in subsidies, two years of complimentary in-car data, and lifetime warranty coverage on the battery, motor, and power electronics for the first owner.
