2026-06-19 00:29:00Rolls-Royce has officially launched the new Spectre Series II, simultaneously lowering its official starting price across multiple global markets. In the U.S., the starting price drops from $420,000 to $398,000—a reduction of 5.7%. In the UK, it falls from £365,000 to £333,000 (down 8.7%), while in Germany, the price decreases from €439,000 to €395,000, a cut exceeding 10%. In China, the official manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the Spectre Series II now ranges from RMB 5.15 million to RMB 5.45 million. Compared to the initial Chinese-spec model’s starting price of RMB 5.75 million, this represents a nominal price reduction of RMB 300,000 to RMB 600,000. Additionally, high-frequency optional features—previously requiring extra cost and valued between RMB 600,000 and RMB 1 million, such as two-tone paint finishes and bespoke embroidery—are now standard across all trims. Factoring in these changes, the Spectre Series II’s effective total price reduction in China reaches RMB 1 million to RMB 1.5 million. As a fully electric vehicle, the Spectre is exempt from China’s 40% luxury consumption tax on large-displacement vehicles, further expanding room for price adjustments. Following these revisions, its per-unit profit margin now exceeds that of both the Ghost and Cullinan, making it Rolls-Royce’s most profitable model.
