On November 5, Xie Tian, Vice President of Baidu and General Manager of Baidu Maps, stated at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit that Baidu Maps has accumulated over 13 million kilometers of true lane-level road data and more than 300 million POIs (points of interest), receives interactive feedback from over 600 million users each month, has been mass-produced and installed in more than 60 million vehicles, and handles up to 650 billion Beidou high-precision positioning requests per day. Baidu Maps has built a spatiotemporal intelligence foundation consisting of a data layer, a model layer, and an agent layer. The model layer uses MoT for unified spatiotemporal modeling, with STI-core supporting reasoning and planning and STI-diffusion supporting dynamic evolution; the agent layer provides services through products such as AI Co-pilot and Xiaodu Xiangxiang. In terms of spatial services, Baidu Maps' overseas mapping capabilities now cover more than 200 countries and regions, and its partnerships with mainstream automakers cover over one million parking lots. In terms of road risk perception, in a vehicle scrape-and-fire accident at a tunnel exit in a southern Chinese city in May 2026, the system issued approximately 13,000 alerts that day. In terms of integration methods, Baidu Maps has upgraded across three dimensions: ecosystem, product, and tools. The product layer offers native support for agents and zero-code skill packages; the tools layer has launched MAPYA and the Baidu Maps CLI. In relevant integration scenarios, developers need only two commands to complete integration, reducing the development cycle from 2 days to minutes. Currently, Baidu Maps has gathered more than 4 million developers.
