Zhijie V9 Wins Gold Award at Shanghai International Die Casting Expo for Integrated Electromagnetic Thermal Control Die Casting Technology

On July 16, 2026, Zhijie Auto announced that its integrated electromagnetic thermal-control die-cast component won the “Golden Casting Award” at the Shanghai International Die Casting Exhibition—the largest and most authoritative die casting trade show in Asia. This award represents the highest honor among numerous entries. The technology has been first applied on the Zhijie V9 model. It enhances molten aluminum fluidity through electromagnetic fields and incorporates a nano-scale thermal-control layer within the mold, enabling instantaneous switching between thermal insulation and heat dissipation to precisely manage heat transfer throughout the entire die-casting process. As a result, internal porosity in large body castings is significantly reduced, and consistent forming quality is achieved across both near and far ends of the mold. Combined with high-strength aluminum alloy materials, this technology increases yield strength by over 55%. Moreover, the innovation consolidates 78 individual parts into a single die-cast component, eliminating 760 welding points and reducing structural weight by 15.5%, thereby further enhancing vehicle lightweighting. The Zhijie V9 also features the industry’s first integrated electromagnetic thermal-control die-cast rear floor, specifically addressing the traditional safety weakness of third-row seating in MPVs. This is complemented by full-surround airbags, a high proportion of advanced high-strength steel and aluminum alloys, and extensive use of hot-stamped steel, collectively elevating the vehicle’s overall safety performance.
