On November 3, Feng Changjun, General Manager of Dongfeng Motor, held talks with the leadership team of Stellantis at its Wuhan headquarters. The two sides exchanged views on advancing the operations of Shenlong Technology and deepening cooperation in overseas markets. Before the meeting, the Stellantis team visited the Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Test Site to learn about Dongfeng's technology planning and conduct test rides and drives. In May 2026, the two sides signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture in Europe. The new company will be 51% owned by Stellantis and 49% by Dongfeng, headquartered in Europe, and will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Voyah-brand electric vehicles in the European market, while also undertaking production, procurement, and engineering functions. Shenlong Automotive Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. is the entity for the joint venture operations between Dongfeng and Stellantis. In August 2026, Shenlong Technology completed its brand renewal and assumed management functions for the two sides' joint venture business in China. In September, Shenlong Technology reached a global strategic cooperation with Momenta to jointly develop an advanced intelligent assisted driving system based on the Momenta R7 world model, which will be equipped on all-new production models of Stellantis Group's Peugeot and Jeep brands for the Chinese, European, and global markets.
